Mandate of KVK
- To implement the mandates effectively, the following activities are envisaged for each kvk
- On farm testing to assesses the location specific of agricultural technologies under various farming system
- Frontline demonstration to established production potential technologies
- Capacity development of farmers and extension personnel to update their knowledge and skills on agricultural technologies
- To work as knowledge and resource centre of agricultural technologies for supporting initiatives of public, private in improving the agricultural economy of the district.
- Provide farm advisories using ITC and other media on varied subjects of interest to the farmers
- Production of quality seed and planting materials, bio-agents and livestock’s to make available to the farmers, identify and documents selected farm innovations and converge with the ongoing schemes and programs within mandates of kvk.
